Dexterity Dance School Northampton, Northamptonshire is the ‘Estha Jones School of Dance’ and is a dance school for all age groups – for those who want to dance just for fun or for those who are seeking to go on to vocational training. We have a mix of styles and approaches including Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, and Street Dance. Dexterity provides a platform to enjoy dance for all abilities. All classes have an emphasis on body control; posture, alignment, strength and flexibility.
Before students join Dexterity they are assessed in a Contemporary class by Estha and placed into one of our Groups from 1-7. As we are not a syllabus-based school, the Groups are flexible and ever-changing. Youngsters grow and develop at different rates so our aim is that they are placed in the Group that best suits their physical aptitude and their ability to cope with the work presented.
As well as advanced ability classes, there are beginners classes in many disciplines.
