Tracey Stanton

Tracey has performed and taught as a freelance dance artist, creating commissioned work for various dance companies, as well as youth dance and community inclusive projects around the East Midlands.
Tracey Stanton studied at Laban Centre London (now Trinity Laban), graduating in 2002 with an Undergraduate Diploma in Dance Theatre. Working with Transitions Dance Company, she toured the UK and internationally with choreographers Ben Wright, Henri Oguike, Protein (Luca Silvestrini and Bettina Stickler) and Richard Siegal of Ballet Frankfurt.
Employed as a Lecturer in Dance at Northampton College since 2005, Tracey has specialised in Contemporary Dance, Choreography, Physical Theatre and Movement. Working with dancers and actors of varying abilities from Level 1 through to HNC/D. Tracey has been course leading and tutoring the L3 Dance qualification since 2015. Tracey works with her students building performance skills, technique, confidence, and creativity and has seen many of her students progress on to Higher Education and the wider dance industry. A number of former students are currently performing in shows both in the West End and internationally, others have joined dance companies or created companies of their own.
