Northants Dancers Strike Gold in All England Dance Festivals

Dexterity outperforms competition from across the country to win string of medals

July 2019: Dancers from top Northants-based Dance School Dexterity have won Thirteen Gold, Five Silver and Nine Bronze Medals in the prestigious 2019 All England Dance Festivals in Milton Keynes, Northampton and Regional Finals at Stevenage and Trophies for highest scoring Contemporary Duet, Trios and Group and Modern Solo and Group across the Festivals. Also at Milton Keynes Festival Dexterity was awarded this year’s overall Best Choreography.

With performances spanning Contemporary and Modern dance disciplines, the dancers competed both individually and as mixed teams to achieve a solid string of first, second and third places, with the overall Milton Keynes ‘Star of the Gala’ winner going to one of Dexterity’s male dancers (Cole Dilley) who goes on to represent Dexterity in the All England Finals in High Wycombe in August.

Principal of Dexterity Dance School, Estha Jones (pictured bottom right), couldn’t speak highly enough of her students. “I’m so very happy for them. At this level, nothing less than total focus can achieve these results. The long hours and dedication they have shown has really paid off”.
