Jamie’s classes are designed to push and expand the students physical and mental capabilities, to allow the students to perform to their very best potential. The classes consist of professional contemporary techniques (tailored to the class level) from Cunningham to floor work.
Jamie studied at the London Contemporary Dance School where he graduated with a BA Degree with Hons. in 2008. Since graduating Jamie has worked with an array of companies, choreographers and directors including Marc Brew (2008), Laurent Pell (2011), Laura Scozzi (2011) Abigail Yates (2012), Lorena Randy (2012), Katharina Bader (2013), Lindsey Butcher (2014), Kim Brandstrup (2015), Kay Shepherd (2015), Zoie Golding (2016) Signe Fabricius (2017) Kasper Holten (2018), with styles ranging from Contemporary to Opera, now specialising in Aerial, Circus and Stunts.
Jamie has had the privilege of performing for many established companies over the years such as The Royal Opera House, Opera North, Opera de Lille, Garsington Opera House, The Generating Company, Sony, Gravity & Levity, Stufish, BattleRoyal, Groupe F, Fidgetfeet and Wired. In pieces such as Cendrillon (2010), UAE 40th Anniversary (2011), Will Young tour (2012) Nabucco (2013), Death in Venice (2013), Rites of War (2014), Carousel (2015), Ride (2016), Bear Grylls (2016), Fidgetfeet (2016) Carmen (2017), Asian Olympic Games (2017), Carmen (2018).
